The Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Ardesi as its new Senior Men’s Coach.
Rob is a former Doncaster Rovers player and our longest serving captain. On behalf of the club committee we wish Rob and his squad all the very best for the 2017 season.
Message from Rob Ardesi..
“I am excited as well as grateful to be given the opportunity to come back to a club I called home for a significant period of time as a player and captain, and now as senior coach of the club celebrating its 50th year in 2017. I hold a great deal of fond memories at the club and I look forward to creating many more.
I am also looking forward to working with my assistant Michael Santoro who is also an ex captain of the club in building a competitive squad for 2017. One that plays with spirit, who are hungry, motivated and dedicated. I not only want to guide them to better themselves as individuals but to respect and be part of this great club.
There are plenty of good things happening in the background, the facilities are exceptional as always, and I am excited by the challenge and eager to get to work immediately.”
