A message from the President
Dear Doncaster Rovers Members, Sponsors & Patrons
First and foremost I would like to thank John Palomares for all his hard work and dedication in leading Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club as President over the last 3 years.
For those of you who don’t know me I would like to briefly introduce myself. I have been actively involved with the Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club for the last 10 years. My roles have included Mini-roos and Senior Committee Representative, Junior Coaches Co-ordinator and General Committee Member.
From a personal perspective I have managed multi million dollar businesses and I am hoping to implement some of my operational business practices into our wonderful club. What drives me in Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club is the community spirit in keeping all our children safe, active and healthy through this ‘world game’. Watching the mini-roos smiling faces running around the pitch, the juniors striving for better and the seniors reaching higher goals both men and women. But most importantly everyone belonging and calling Doncaster Rovers home.
Through my knowledge and experience I will be reaching to you the community to strengthen Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club. I wish to call on all our members to support our club in all upcoming events. Its success is up to all of us. So please look around and ask the question, what can I do to help? Doncaster Rover Soccer Club is based on 9 seats on the committee. Currently there are a couple of vacancies so please let me know what you can do and join our committee of management at Rovers. Many hands make light work.
I look forward to seeing you all around the club in the coming weeks so everyone can put a face to a name. Thank you for the opportunity as the role of President in this great club.
Anthony Moutafis – President, Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club
